Glendale has the darkest night skies in the UK, making it ideal for star-gazing and photographing the aurora borealis.

It is just a short drive to Neist Point, where there are regular sightings of minke whales, porpoises, dolphins and basking sharks, with the occasional orcas. Neist is a mecca for wildlife with nesting colonies of fulmars, kittiwakes, shags and auks.

Eat Well

The cottage is a 10 minute taxi ride from the acclaimed Three Chimneys restaurant, which regularly features amongst the best restaurants in the UK.

The wonderful Café Lephin is less than 100 yards from the cottage.
